When magma leaks from a volcano it begins to cool being exposed to surface temperatures. The magma cools and turns into extrusive igneous rocks meaning outside of the volcano. When magma cools inside the volcano its called intrusive igneous rocks. Crystallization is where gasses or liquids solidify into a rock. |
